18 Mar Early wrap for Twilight Crit Series

Due to a variety of factors the final round of the 2nd ACC Twilight Series has been cancelled

We’d like to thank everyone that participated and helped out for the Twilight Crit Series, it wasn’t all smooth sailing but lots of fast and furious fun was had and the plan is to do it all again… but better, next Summer. The concept was simple, a short and sharp weekly event for everyone to go out and ride their mountain bike and get those lungs pumping.

Series 1 started back in November running for 4 rounds up to the club Christmas breakup. Unfortunately due to lightning in the area, the first round was cancelled but each round thereafter was run and won with great success with a total of 34 riders getting involved in series 1.

Series 2 got underway just as the bushfires were starting to settle down with the plan to lead all the way up to the National MTB Champs giving all our local riders the ideal intensity training leading up to the champs! We fell short by one race but witnessed some really exciting racing.
