Welcome

If you’re wanting to join a cycling club with a great group of people who are interested in all forms of cycling, its enjoyment, its competition, the development of skills for all ages and genders across all disciplines and simply having fun then you’ve come to the right place. We’re based in Bright ( North East Victoria ) and enjoy living in the heart of some of Australia’s best cycling.

 

The Alpine Cycling Club is affiliated with AusCycling ( for Road Cycling and MTB ). Therefore you’ll need to join us via AusCycling.

The membership with AusCycling provides many advantages and incentives for competitive athletes ( Racers ), non-competitive athletes ( Non-Racers ) and Volunteers ( non-riders ).

Insurance

Whether you really like to go hard shredding a downhill trail or really push the corners on descents, sometimes things go wrong and if it does it’s good peace of mind to know that there’s an insurance cover.

 

Included with AusCycling membership is insurance cover for when you’re out on your bike and even if you’re volunteering in an event or doing trail maintenance work. The details of the insurance cover is also on this website. We’ve had a member or two who are testimony to the value of this membership that when needed have had medical cover and also loss of income protection.

Club Membership

When joining via AusCycling, you will be invited to nominate for joining via an affiliated local club. The Alpine Cycling Club offers membership for all ages and all levels ( Junior, Adult and Family ), so as long as you love being on 2 wheels and support the development of our passion in our community you’ll feel right at home as a member of ACC:-

 

Juniors ( Ages 4 to 18 ):

During school terms we hold on Tuesday evenings ( weather dependant ) a skills development session where the younger MTB riders can learn from group leaders safe riding out on trails in controlled conditions. There are also race days held in conjunction with other North East clubs ( Team Mt Beauty, Yackandandah and Beechworth ).

ACC membership fees for Juniors is $10 annually. 

Adults ( 18 and above ):

Adult membership with ACC is $20 per annum.

Families ( 2 adults and up to 4 children ):

Family membership with ACC is $50 per annum.
